Back to the grind

So it has been a while since I have blogged because school has taken over my life.
For one thing, I don't understand how Organic chemistry labs need to take 4 hours and is only worth 1 hour credit. Although I am actually liking organic chemistry a lot. It makes a lot more sense and it's interesting because the ways the molecules act dictate so many aspects of our lives.
The myth that standing near a microwave or your cellphone waves are bad for you? False! The waves don't have enough energy to be harmful! I am not very good at thinking about molecules on a 3-D level, but hopefully I can bluff enough on the test.
I just wanted to post something, but I think I'm going to list some exciting things in my life.
One I am going to try to do research overseas this summer. However I am trying to find someone to go with me, me on my own in Germany, knowing zero German does not seem too rational to me. Even if I can get a research position in NYC or Chicago that would be most super because I would love to live in a big city. And speaking English would be a plus.
Hmmm, some other exciting things in my life. The pit has real eggs at the omelet station now, even though whisking consists of poking at the yolks three times with a spatula, I am happy to say I am no longer eating egg substitute.
Got a Dean's List letter thing today! Might send them to my Dad so he can display it proudly on the fridge, since it being my first and all..
Which means I have to do well this semester! Drinking tea at night is really a bad idea.
Lately, I have also been working on self-betterment. It's hard to actively recognize a problem and then consciously try to correct it all the time. I think I am gaining life experiences though, as hard as they may be, I will a precedent for later. And sometimes I just have to believe that everything is going to work out in the end.
Ha, tell that to the part of my brain that is freaking out about this chem test.
Like it says on fuckingweather.com. At least I'm not in upstate New York.
Time for bed.
